Circa 1999, my journey in photography began shooting analog expired film across the streets of New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. These cities, with their diverse personalities and rich colors, fueled my exploration of expressions, people, attitudes, settings, and street art.
Transitioning from analog to digital, I continued to embrace the craftsmanship of shooting with old lenses — adding a nostalgic, textured layer to my work. I combined these techniques with reflecting movement, stillness, and attitude inspired by urban lifestyle. Motivated by the heartbeat of urban culture—subways, raw graffiti, skate and surf scenes, bustling streets, and live music—I seek to portray the vibrant spirit of urban environments. From street reflections to the bokeh palette, my goal is to tell stories through authentic self-expression, capturing nuanced moments and the soul of city life.
Through my art on canvas, I want to evoke all the colors, the attitude, and the constant transformation of the cities themselves. My constant search is for mixing photography and art, blending the two to create new expressions and perspectives, with a focus on connecting through vivid storytelling.
